What's the Academy?
Living Hope Academy was born out of two convictions.
1 .The Highlands need more healthy churches. Therefore, we need to train 'ordinary' Christians for ministry in the Highlands.
2. The church is the primary context for training. Therefore, we want to be a church where 'ordinary' Christians can be trained for ministry in the Highlands.
We are delighted to be able to partner with Crosslands and Cornhill Scotland, two time-tested and trusted training providers who share our convictions, to run Living Hope Academy.
What's the time commitment?
Ultimately, it's up to you how much how much time you commit to the Academy, like anything, you'll get out of it what you put into it. The recommended study time for each unit is 15-20 hours which can be done in your own time. Once a month everyone will meet together for 2 hours to discuss and apply our learning from the module we've been studying.
What's the cost?
We want the academy to be as affordable as possible so the total cost is £250 for the year. This covers all of your materials, venue hire, food & drinks. You can either make a one off payment or pay £25 a month for 10 months. We want the academy to be accessible to anyone so if the cost is a barrier to you please contact and we'll help as we're able.
